About Maura

Hi! I am looking for a job this summer close to my home in South Kingstown. I currently work as a special education teachers assistant in Warwick and have tons of experience working with kids. I am currently enrolled in a masters program at URI in the education department. I have always loved working with kids. I started working with kids when I was 15 and started babysitting, 16 teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding, internships in college w/ science camp, Jan 2021 hired as a teachers assistant in Warwick. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach with my puppy, spend time outside, go to concerts, cook, garden, spend time with my family (15 mo nephew) and read. I am looking for a summer job for when I am not in classes or working as a TA in Warwick. My skills include having calm energy, able to be consistent, reliable and have creative ideas on how to have fun with the kids all summer.
