Hello! My name is Maura and I have been lucky enough to get to work professionally with kiddos (ages 17months-12 years) for a little over 4 years now! I am finishing my bachelors degree in Elementary Education, and am working towards a career as elementary school teacher! I have just moved to Portland From Seattle, where I was caregiver for the same family for 3 years. I believe that every kiddo I work with teaches me just as much as I teach them. I love getting to learn with them! My focus is on educational play to support age appropriate social and emotional development in kids. I look forward to meeting your wonderful families and kiddos! It is a great privilege to be able to watch and encourage the kids I work with to grow, learn about the world around them and develop into the best version of themselves. In my spare time, I like to explore new places in my neighborhood, and make friendship bracelets!
