About Maura

I have a lifetime of experience caring for children! Born to Salvadorian parents, I was placed in the care of local babysitters and grew up helping care for younger children as the oldest in my family. This early responsibility sparked a passion for childcare that I've carried with me ever since. In high school, I started babysitting for local families, and during college, I continued helping parents on weekends and even while they vacationed-balancing childcare with a full-time job. I'm most experienced with children aged three months to three years but have cared for kids up to age 11. While not formally certified, I have solid first-aid knowledge and understand how to handle emergencies involving babies. Caring for children has never felt like a job to me-it's something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. I'm currently seeking weekend or one-time babysitting opportunities to help families and make a little extra money.
