About Maura

I am a mother of twins who are in college now, and I am a middle school Spanish teacher with over 30 years of experience. Raising my children at every age level is something I have never taken for granted, and I would love to continue working with children and families in a caretaking role. My children were born at 30 weeks, and I feel I can bring a certain calm to children and families, but also fun and creativity! I think a highlight of my parenting and teaching is how I love finding the best way to reach children where they are at, and help them move forward. I'm also super practical when it comes to getting done what needs to get done! Getting to after school activities, finishing homework, staying active, and doing something fun like playdates, crafts, playgrounds, etc! Can't wait to connect with you!
