hi! i'm mattie and I love kiddos. I have many years of experience nannying as well as working in after school care and summer camps. I am great with kids of all ages even the teeny tiny one and I am CPR certified. I love doing arts and crafts with kids, playing with dolls and legos, spending time outside, and going on adventures. I am also a birth and postpartum doula and passionate about mama and baby health and development. I am extremely interested in child development and always looking to learn new things and implementing them with the kids I nanny. My childcare philosophy includes limiting screen time (especially for children under two as recommended by AAP) and gentle discipline and behavior management, along with encouraging self sufficiency and independence. Mattie was the nanny for our baby girl from the time she was 4 months until 10 months, when we moved out of Nashville. Mattie is wonderful with our daughter who loves her so much and is so happy every time she walks in the door. She is great at following schedules and helping teach infant skills (she taught our daughter to wave)! She will love your kids like her own and I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing childcare!
