I am conscientious, courteous & reliable. Small gestures of assistance can make all the difference in an elderly persons day. Folks deserve to be heard and age in place. I'm looking for a job that compliments my FT job and utilizes my skill set. My MIL fell ill 10 years ago. Instead of us institutionalizing her I opted to move into her home for 9 months to get her back to where she could live on her own again. Now 90 with MS and still on her own- because of her own fortitude, but also because she knows she has our support. I like to cook, hike, birdwatch, travel, and theater. I basically want to look at, listen to and taste beautiful things. I do travel but will plan for my absence such as preparing and freezing meals. Meal planning & prep, companionship, light the housework or handyman tasks. I can also help males with bathing, etc.
