About Matthew

I'd describe my personality as disciplined, curious, and determined! I like tutoring because of the rewarding nature of the job - seeing a student finally grasp a concept that was previously difficult for them to understand is an incredibly fulfilling experience. Making science accessible to everyone is part of why I tutor, and something that I plan to continue to do as I start my career as a physician after medical school. I'm looking for a job that allows me to build a longitudinal relationship with students that require some extra assistance with their learning. In my spare time, I like to listen to technology podcasts, draw, work out, care for my houseplants, and play guitar. One thing you should know about me is that I know how important education is, and how early interest in science can change a child's life--it changed mine. My skills include explaining difficult concepts easily, teaching memorization skills, and helping students with test anxiety.
