About Matthew

I graduated with my Associates degree in music from McHenry County College in 2018. I've been a teacher at Marengo Community High School for 6, going on 7 years now. I teach percussion ensemble and drumline. A couple of years ago, I went back to school and will graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in the fall of 2024 with a Bachelors degree in percussion performance and a minor in human services. Outside of the classroom, I love to bake. I mainly decorate cakes for family events. I'm also a huge Spider-man fanatic. I collect comic books and all things Spider-man. I also am a huge board game nerd. I think the most unique thing about me is how much I love my spiders. I have 4 tarantulas and 2 jumping spiders. As far as my babysitting experience goes, I started as a teenager carrying for my younger cousins, and as the oldest of 4 siblings, I've been caring for others my whole life.
