About Matthew

With BA's in both Philosophy and Theology, and working concurrently towards Master's degrees in either subject, Matthew has 3 years experience as a tutor. In the past three years, Matthew has patiently guided college and high school aged students in a variety of subjects, including basic mathematics, natural science, reading comprehension, writing composition, resume drafting, and SAT/ACT prep. Matthew is not only committed to providing students competency in the classroom, but tools for their everyday life. In addition to the stipulated curriculum, he gratuitously offers his tutors personal 'goal-setting' sessions where he believes the students will be able to establish for themselves optimistic, yet achievable 1, 3, and 5 year goals. Three words that describe my personality: cheerful, focused, and receptive. In my spare time, I like to craft relief prints and sip iced cold brew... I am also a big fan of Chet Baker's jazz.
