As a former Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, focusing on assisting in individualized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs. My role involved implementing behavior therapy techniques to encourage positive development in areas such as communication, social skills, and daily living activities. I worked closely with families and BCBAs to ensure consistent support across all environments, helping children build confidence and independence. My experience as an RBT has provided me with patience, empathy, and a deeper understanding of how to care for children with ASD.
