About Matilda

Hi I am Matilda! I am 25 and I've been in childcare on and off for the last 10 years while going to school! My longest full time nanny job was three years, until all kids were in school full time! I live in the Sabin/King neighborhood and am available for one time jobs or emergencies/last minute plans often as well as regularly scheduled work! I am CPR/first aid certified and was also a lifeguard and swim instructor! I aim to foster a safe and stimulating environment, and have fun! I am a huge proponent of play based learning! I have a patient and calm demeanor, and an imaginative spirit. I believe open communication with parents is essential! I am really go with the flow so let me know your expectations/preferences and I am super happy to accommodate them! I always try to follow parents' guidance to ensure consistency and respect for their family values. I'm happy to assist with tasks like cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and even travel.
