About Mathilda

I have been babysitting and tutoring for 6 years, with experience in ages 0-14. I have worked in NYC, NY, LA, and Athens. Growing up in a small town, I would often be hired by multiple families for parent get-togethers to watch groups of up to 9 children, developing great skills in conflict resolution. I am currently majoring in psychology at The New School, while also taking classes at Parsons. My goal is to become a child psychologist specializing in the use of art in therapy. I care deeply about bonding with the children I babysit, and I find arts and crafts or media to be an invaluable medium for fostering this connection. While I'm ideally seeking a full-time position, as I am attending school online this year, I have a lot of flexibility and am open to different situations. I love animals (I own 2 cats here, and grew up with cats and dogs), I can cook, and am in the process of getting first-aid certified.
