About Mary

I like working with animals because it is fun to see their individual personalities and what their habits and quirks are that make them different from other animals of the same species. I like to interact with them and see their different ways of interacting with their surroundings. I have worked with animals since I was very young. Growing up, we had a family dog, cats, and chickens. We also have had frogs, fish, and lizards. I enjoy taking care of the different animals and seeing what I can learn from them. In my spare time, I like to read novels, homesteading books, books on how to raise different kinds of (farm) animals, and other books. I also like to do counted cross-stitch. Having coffee with my friends and family is another activity that I enjoy. I also occasionally teach my family dog tricks, which is fun and sometimes surprising to see how he learns.
