I have been pet sitting in a variety of ways for at least two years. Sometimes I am only asked to visit a house to let dogs out and fill food/water dishes. Other times, I am asked to stay with the animals in the house while the owner is away (for the day or for the week). I have experience mainly with dogs (puppies included) and cats but I have also had to care for hamsters/gerbils and I even have some experience with a pig. I love animals and most of the animals I have cared for have seemed to like me as well. :)

When we go away Mary is my #1 pet sitter. We have 3 cats and 2 dogs. Mary not only spends time and plays with the animals she also makes sure my house stays safe. Mary has been watching our pets for 3 plus years, my pets are familiar with Mary and are very comfortable around her. Knowing Mary is taking care of our pets relieves me of worry while I'm away.
