My experience caring for those with special needs is with my beautiful niece with Down Syndrome. I have helped my niece with everyday activities. We have learned to cook and bake meals for the family. We learned to swim, play sports, arts & crafts from painting to building bird houses. Anything that would put a smile on her face. She now lives in Georgia with my sister and is a adult. I would treat them like they were part of my family.
