About Mary

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, creative, and caring! I like tutoring because it gives me plenty of opportunities to teach and adjust my teaching to each individuals' learning style. I started tutoring when I was in High School, and quickly moved to teaching English and Art in summer school throughout my years in college. In my spare time, I like to play guitar, paint, and listen to my records! One thing you should know about me is I have plenty of experience working with special needs kids as an RBT, and love constructing accommodating and engaging learning plans! My skills include: increasing student interest in school and learning, creating concrete and achievable goals, and making learning fun!
