About Mary

I worked as a respiratory therapist in a skilled nursing facility for 6 years most recently and have 20 years of experience as a clinician overall. I have a desire to continue to give care in a less stressful non clinical capacity, but I have the benefit of my clinical experience that I can utilize to recognize when a loved one may be experiencing a change in their condition that would require a call to a family member for possible further instruction on how to proceed with care. In addition, I was able to act as my mothers POA when she entered a nursing home after suffering a stroke and we experienced firsthand the shortcomings and heartbreak inherent in trying to get adequate daily care in a corporate for profit care facility. I feel like I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to gain valuable experience as both a clinician and caregiver during the course of my life and I look forward to the opportunity to provide care to your family if I'm chosen to do so once again.
