I'm looking for a summer job. I'm available currently-Aug. 28, and possibly throughout the school year. Since retiring I have tutored many students in math, reading, language arts, and test taking for gifted classes. Some students are behind academically, while others just want to be advanced. My favorite grades to tutor are grades k-5, but I have taught as far up as the eighth grade. I use a variety of online websites to teach various standards, plus PowerPoints that I have developed. I am comfortable teaching through in person. I prefer one-on-one, but in the past year I worked with a family of three at the same time.
