About Mary

I am a 49-year-old former high school math teacher with 18 years of experience in public schools. I'm new to the Haddonfield area and come from a large family, where I have always been involved in caring for children. In addition to my teaching experience, I have professional experience as a sitter for families, where I was responsible for school pick-ups and drop-offs, supervising extracurricular activities, assisting with homework, and providing recreational care. I am intelligent, friendly, and great with children. I became a teacher because I love working with children, and I hope to find a family in or near my new community that I can support. I am available to work 15-20 hours per week after school, Monday through Friday, with school-aged children. I am not available for tutoring.
