I feel I am quite proficient at keeping my own home in proper order. With that being said, I know how to keep a house clean and clutter free. I can prepare meals, do laundry, change bed linens, care for a pet, assist with mobility, transport to Dr. appointments, run errands, monitor medicine, etc. My mother had dementia for the last 10 years of her life. My sister became her sole caretaker. I moved out of state just as she began showing symptoms. When my sister would take vacations was when I would step in to care for her. She needed care with bathing, cleaning her after using the bathroom, meals, medication and mobility. She also needed monitoring overnight in case she needed to use the restroom, etc. I'm so grateful I was able to care for her. I can help care for your aging loved ones, too!
