I have a lot of experience with Elementary, Middle and High School youth. However, I am especially good with kids 11yrs+ (younger if they are mature). I have over seven years experience with the YMCA, YWCA & a private after school program in this area, as well as 10+ within my church. I think they are a great age group that few people think of for after school care. But there is a great need for someone to be there at home for these guys! You never know when an intruder will come into the home. I know of a few kids where this has happened before. Things are scary these days and the more people at home the better. I have CPR & First Aid training. I can be there for your kid if, heaven forbid, something bad were to happen. I can be an active presence, doing activities, running them to practice, etc. Or I can be just someone who is sitting there in case I'm needed. I know teens and preteens do not think that they need a babysitter. Think of me more as a buddy for the kids to have around.
