About Mary

Hi! My name is Mary and I am 19 years old. I am a full-time college student, studying Kinesiology at the University of Illinois Chicago. I am a devoted Christian that enjoys talking about my faith. Spending time getting to know Jesus Christ has helped me understand why my love for children runs so deep. He welcomes all children in his arms, teaches them, and blesses them. Knowing how much love Jesus has for children gives me so much more hope and faith in caring for them. I genuinely want to foster child development and growth in children. I want to support families in directing their children onto the right path, so that when they're older, they'll never leave it. I am a former daycare teacher assistant. My role consisted of taking care of children, supervising children, assisting the lead teacher with lesson plans, and engaging with the children. I received my first aid, CPR, ECE, and food handler's certification. I'm genuinely so excited to spend my life around children!
