About Mary

I'm a passionate childcare provider with experience as a babysitter throughout high school. I have four younger siblings so I have always been comfortable with younger children and am always ready to help out. Last summer I coached and volunteered with adults and children in the special Olympics. This was an impactful and joyful experience. I also coached the younger swimmer on a club team during high school and currently swim for the University of North Carolinas teammates. In addition to adults and children, I spend three years in the past visiting and spending time with elderly and disabled adults in a nursing home. I am grateful to have been able to spend time with these adults, who mostly never had any family or friends to visit them. My approach to childcare involves mixing educational and recreational activities. I plan to communicate with the parents however they wish and follow their guidelines on activities and rules.
