I'd describe my personality as cheerful, reliable, kind and willing to help.. I like caring for seniors because they are not done living and need respect. They need to know their life matters. I'm looking for a job that the client needs some help and some company and companionship. Taking the time preparing and sharing meals and listening to their life stories when they want to talk can help provide a feeling of being heard. I cared for an elderly woman for a school year when I was in high school. I provided 24 hour Care for my mother-in -law 3 years until she gained her health back. Over the years I have enjoyed assisting here and there when I see someone who just needs a hand. In my spare time, I like to take care of 5 grandchildren, gardening and sewing. I hike some and read a lot. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable. If I say I will be there I will. My skills include to assist client, listening, cooking, cleaning, staying organized.
