I spent 7 years caring for a wonderful friend by visiting her 2 evenings a week and doing laundry, helping with her showers and visiting. I cleaned houses for 7 years while taking a leave from my career job in order to care for my son with Asperger. This allowed me to set the schedule around my son's needs. I helped a neighbor for 1 hour each day. I helped put her leg pumps on each day. she has lymphedemas.
