About Mary

I would describe my personality as compassionate, friendly and understanding. I like helping and making a difference in seniors lives. My job allows me to help the seniors with their daily activities. I enjoy having conversation with them and learning about life through their experiences. I'm looking for a job that I can focus on one individual. I find it to be very stressful having 10 to 15 patients to care for in 8 hours. Working in a hospital setting it's difficult at times to give all my patients the care they need. I started caring for seniors when I became a certified nursing assistant in 2008. In my spare time, I like to go for walks, exercise, go shopping, garden, and read a book. One thing you should know about me. I treat every individual the way I would want my family member or myself to be treated. I have empathy to others. My skills include being patient, caring, understanding and having 16 years of experience caring for seniors in a hospital setting.
