I have the privilege of having a brother who is brain damaged. He function is very low. I took care of S throughout my childhood and although he now lives in area I still make a point of seeing him at least once a month for a weekend sleepover. I am patient and kind and seem to have the ability to "connect" with special needs individuals. I also had the honor of taking care of my parents while each was ill (melanoma Mom / lung ca Dad). Also I have worked with seniors referred to me by visiting nurses. I enjoy helping elderly people who sometimes need a break from family members and visa versa. I am able to do light housekeeping, prepare simple meals and shuttle clients to and from appointments
