I am a former teacher who resigned to take care of my mother when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. After she passed away, I decided on a change of pace, completed CNA training, and worked in a nursing home. After a year, I switched to one-on-one in-home caregiving. I worked for a family taking care of their disabled daughter for over 3 years. When they moved too far to commute, I worked with other local families, both child care and senior care. While caring for their loved ones, I have been told that I'm "a member of our family"... their words. I don't just work for a paycheck. I love what I do and I treat others as I would hope to be treated if the roles were reversed. I have a strong work ethic, am punctual and honest, and I am very loving. I can't speak highly enough about Mary! I trusted her with my child completely. She is patient, kind, and very willing to listen and ask questions. She makes sure that you as the parent are comfortable and that she is following any directions correctly. She and my child formed a special bond and I wish COVID/job changes hadn't prevented us from working together for a little while. She taught my child so much and helped her eat/sleep on a great schedule. Mary was always willing to play and play and play... Mary is a special lady! All the recommendations
