About Mary

Last summer I was a nanny for two families, both with two children. I also babysat for a family with four kids and my neighbors with three children regularly for a few years. I'd describe my personality as creative, inquisitive, and outgoing. I like working with kids because they are all unique and interesting. It's never a dull day and there is always something they can think to say or do. Being allowed to be a part of their lives and growth is so rewarding and fulfilling. I started working with kids when I was 13. It was the minimum age to volunteer at my church which I have been doing ever since. I started doing babysitting with my sister that same year and started babysitting on my own when I was 15. In my spare time, I like to learn new things. It can be art, history, cooking, science or anything else. Learning new things is my favorite kind of pastime, although playing board games with friends is a close second.
