Hi there, my name is MK and I work as a full-time school-based occupational therapist during the school year. This summer I am looking for occasional/part-time hours to fit my schedule. *While I will not be providing comprehensive occupational therapy services this summer, I am looking to apply my background knowledge and passion to support families and their children with disabilities with care and/or tutoring. I believe in taking a holistic approach to working with each child. I firmly believe in supporting each child's sensory and regulation needs, before addressing learning and skill development. I am steadfast in using a neurodiversity affirming lens, in order to champion each family and child's strengths and goals. I operate under the philosophy of presuming competence, meaning I believe that each child is capable and deserving of the whole human experience, regardless of disability.
