Hi! I'm MaryKate. I grew up on Long Island and currently live in Brooklyn with my fiancé. I am a middle school teacher and have been teaching now for 11 years. I love to travel (35 countries so far) and lived abroad teaching for 4 years, both in South Korea and Abu Dhabi. I enjoy weightlifting, singing, and watching documentaries. I started babysitting my 3 younger brothers and many cousins when I was a young teenager. When I was in my 20's, I helped to raise my two nieces and spend as much time as I can with them now. I absolutely love being around children, caring for them, laughing with them, and just overall making memories and showing them the world. I'd describe my personality as open-minded, empathetic, responsible, compassionate, and flexible. Children are the innocent minds of this crazy world. They still see the world for what it should be and I've always loved that.
