I'd describe my personality as compassionate, reliable, trustworthy. I like caring for seniors because the difference I make in their lives is matched by the difference they make in mine. I'm not looking for a job, rather an opportunity to help someone who needs support. I started caring for seniors in 1983. My entire career has been devoted to older adults and their families. My professional passion turned deeply personal when my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease at the young age of 65. One thing you should know about me is it is not about how much I know, but how much I care. I have served in various capacities of caregiving, care management, and long term care leadership over the years. Now I want to help older adults age in place in their own homes as opposed to formal care settings. My skills include person-centered care, dementia care, and problem solving.
