About Maryjane

I am currently a student at UC Davis studying psychology, on summer break. With four years of experience caring for a range of age groups, from infants to preteens, I've developed a patient and calm approach to childcare. I understand the importance of open communication with parents and strive to keep them updated about their child's day, whether verbally at pickup or through regular text or phone updates. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and believe in creating a structured and safe environment for children. I enjoy playing a variety of games with kids, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles, always looking for opportunities to make learning fun. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR and have completed coursework in early child development. I'm confident in my ability to care for up to two children at a time and am happy to help with tasks like cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming.
