I provided 24 hour care of Senior Citizens for six years, serving 11 different individuals. Three nourishing homemade meals and snacks were served daily. Stimulating activities were carefully planned throughout the day, as well. Daily walks, weather permitting and some day outings were also offered in order to provide a wide variety activities. I am trained in medication administration, Minnesota State Law of Maltreatment and Vulnerable Adult Act, Traumatic Brain Injury, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. Currently I am able to provide the following: medication monitoring, companionship, current events discussion, reading, singing, hair care, nail polishing, puzzles, card/board games, etc.

Mary Ellen is a great woman who has that rare combination of a good heart and a good head. She not only expresses concern for others, she takes action to help them, understanding full well that the best help for others is to teach them how to help themselves, yet providing the care they need when they are unable to do so themselves. She is honest, direct, intelligent, insightful, reliable, and has good judgment. I feel it a privilege to know her!
