I am currently seeking a weekday daytime position (8 a.m. to 3 PM) to supplement my income. I have extensive experience, including my current role as an evening nanny for two children, ages 3 and 6, as well as previous experience as a nanny for a child from infancy to preschool. Mary is wonderful with kids!! She nannied for us for a couple of week during a transitional work period, and we really wish that she could have stayed with us long-term. She immediately connected with the kids – our 4 year old gave her the BIGGEST hug at the end of the first day and couldn’t wait for her to come back the next. Our 11 month old, who usually does not like anyone except for mama, warmed up to her so quickly that Mary called her a “snugglebug” by the end of the day (something my daughter cannot typically be described as!!). We were starting to work on letters with my son (and having trouble getting him into it), and Mary was able to work with him and actually get him excited about learning. We noticed he starting identifying letters all of the time after working with Mary. Even though she only worked for us for a couple of weeks, it felt like she could be family by the end – she is such a genuinely good person who loves children. We highly recommend her for any babysitting or one-off needs!!
