About Mary

I am a patient and nurturing, non-smoker with over 10 years of professional caregiver experience and taking care of kids is what I do best. I love children and find sharing in their development a truly rewarding experience. My proudest accomplishment has been raising my four children, who all graduated college and are now starting families of their own. As a mother I know how challenging and wonderful it can be to raise kids, so I consider it a privilege to work with families as a caregiver. My goal is to help families manage their busy lives by providing exceptional childcare. I love working with kids of all ages, but my passion is working with young children aged 0 to 5. I enjoy teaching children social and academic skills, and I also enjoy cleaning and cooking. I have worked in a number of childcare facilities and as a private nanny. Currently, I work at the childcare center at Church and I have several local Jacksonville childcare references. I have completed a training program.

Mary ("Cathy") has been such a wonderful blessing to our family! She's been watching our son full-time since we moved to Jacksonville and she has made this transition so smooth for our family. She is kind, reliable, always on time (early), and so sweet to our little boy. She reads, sings and plays with him constantly. We have so much peace of mind knowing how experienced she is and that she's taking great care of our son. I wish that we could have lived in Jacksonville sooner so that she could have been our nanny since he was born! We look forward to keeping in touch and having her babysit for us once he starts school soon. I recommend her to anyone looking for a nanny or babysitter who they can depend on to provide great care for their children!
