About Mary

Hello! My name is Mary and I am a certified book worm! I have a Bachelor's degree in English from Kean University and am currently pursuing a Master's of Library and Information Science at Rutger's University. I currently work in a library system and have the upmost passion for literature! I also have experience working with kids as a former child care provider. As your tutor, my approach is tailored to your child's individual needs. I aim to cultivate not only linguistic proficiency but also confidence and self-expression. I believe in a positive and supportive learning environment where mistakes are welcomed as opportunities for growth! I once pursued a career in education before finding my true passion at the library, however, I still have that longing to teach! I believe this will be a great opportunity to enrich my passion for literature and allow me to inspire others for a love of language arts!
