Mom of two kiddos who are off on adventures in college now. Both have had unique health challenges, so I have 20 years of experience caring for kiddos with chronic illness and physical disabilities as well as preparing allergen-free and celiac-safe foods. I'm looking to work with families who need an extra hand, helping parents care for their children and provide adventure and fun activities according to parental guidelines. I have been working with children for 40 years, first as a mother's helper when I was young, progressing from babysitter to nanny before I had my own children. I enjoy seeing the world through children's eyes and spent over 10 years volunteering in elementary schools where I taught music, math, and language arts to little ones. In the summers, I volunteered with an island non-profit to teach basic boat building skills to children ages 10 and up. I enjoy working with children, meeting them where they are at to help them have a really good day.
