Hi, my name is Mary. I'm an 19-year-old student at Sonoma state I'm majoring in biology and hoping to go to medical school to become a pediatrician. I've grown up with siblings much younger than me and from a young age, learned how to care for young children while my parents were busy. Before moving to Rohnert Park for school I babysat for two families with three children under the age of four, but I also have experience watching preteens! The kids are always thrilled when I arrive, and I love planning fun activities. I've been told I have a gift when it comes to children! I love baking, arts, and crafts, playing outside and hide and seek, I think there are lots of ways to have fun without technology! I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Mary is very sweet. My kids (age 8, 6, and 2) loved having her babysit. She came and was immediately engaged with the kids. Even during our interview they were pulling her outside to see the chickens, and showing her their rooms and toys. She was punctual, and has great communication. Very responsive which is really important. When we hired her, she came with a binder with an informational sheet for us to fill out that provided her with parent contact info, kids doctors info, emergency contacts, family rules etc. I had never thought about providing that before but found it to be very responsible of her to ask in the event she needs it during her time with the kids. She also has sheets to interview the kids on their likes, dislikes, favorite things to do, etc which I thought was really fun. The kids were fed, bathed and ready for bed when we got home! We can't wait to have her come back!
