About Marybeth

I have grown up on my families farm where we were taught from a young age how to care for a variety of animals: horses, cows, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, geese, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and even the occasional llama and alpaca! My parents bred Great Pyrenees dogs for years so I have been involved in the many aspects of breeding, including taking care of pregnant dogs, small puppies, and overseeing the training and overall care of the puppies until they were old enough to sell. After 15 years of breeding, we have since ceased the breeding business and now have four dogs remaining, two Great Pyrenees and two German Shepherds. Throughout my high school and college careers, graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, I have run a small pet/farm sitting business where I cared for client's family pets and up to large horse farms of 30 plus horses. Upon graduating, I also worked for an Olympic event rider in Ocala, FL for the spring season of 2013. I currently run a small horse boarding operation at my farm and continue to ride and train horses. I am very passionate about my animals and any that are in my care and I strive to always provide the best possible care.
