About Mary

I have worked with children in one capacity or another for many, many years. My first nanny position was when I was a junior in high school for two boys age 4 and 8. Before that, I had countless babysitting jobs with children of all ages. I have volunteered with vacation Bible schools and church nurseries. I spent six months in Uganda, Africa teaching primary students both English and math. During college I was in charge of a group of students who weekly visited a refugee apartment complex to play with the kids. I look back over the years and it is nearly impossible to find a time where I was not caring for children. During my last summer of college, I was a full time nanny for a girl age 6 and a boy age 8, and then continued working part time for the family during after school hours. I planned their schedules, took them to their activities, planned play dates, cooked dinner, and did light house cleaning. I also worked throughout college as a babysitter for various Dallas families.
