When I was a child, I used to read encyclopedias from cover to cover, memorizing facts and figures, It was therefore at the young age of eight that I discovered that I enjoy sharing knowledge with others. Now that I am on the underside of being a senior citizen, I still have thar same enthusiasm. I have some 30 years of paid experience as a teacher, most of which in the field of Teaching Englishas a Second Language (ESL), both in the US and abroad (Saudi Arabia, Spain, and UAE) but I also tutored English to native speakers, taught elementary school Spanish, and prepared adults in civics (US government and history) so they can pass the US Citizenship Test. In my teaching jobs, besides teaching in classrooms, I was considered a "natural" at tutoring, whether1:1 or small group. More recently, I have discovered virtual teaching online.
