Hello. My name is Marty and I have over 25 years of early childhood experience, CPR and first aid certified and I am more than willing to keep those credentials up to date as needed. I also have my CDA certification. I am currently a nanny after branching out from a 25 year working relationship with a small home early childhood environment. I wanted a more one on one relationship with children I would be caring for. I absolutely love being a nanny, helping children achieve their age appropriate developmental skills, giving them the stability of a loving, caring, and supportive caregiver. Children have always been my passion and I have so much to offer them. Whether it be gross motor skills, fine motor, hand-eye coordination and cognitive skills, I am more than ready to help a child thrive and know they are loved. We've known Marty since our oldest, now almost 10-years-old, was 10-months-old. Marty was his daycare teacher for a couple years, along with his younger siblings, now almost 8 and 6. Since then, she babysits for us regularly. We love her! She's great with all ages, but especially loves the babies. Marty is calm when they cry, firm when they need boundaries, and fun when they need that. The daycare where Marty used to work for over 20 years always had a long waitlist. It was a Montessori style school, so she has lots of training in childhood development. She really cares about that aspect of caring for kids: making sure they're safe but also learning and growing. I credit her with helping us raise our kids, honestly. Her demeanor towards parents is great, too. I would always look forward to saying hi to her at morning drop offs. She's one of those people who is a ray of sunshine!
