I have 2 kids, ages 28 & 16. I was a stay at home mom, but I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and I have worked with children of all ages through the years, though unpaid. I believe children are people and should be treated with respect and an awareness of their developmental stage. I believe kids need outdoor unstructured play, and the freedom to take calculated risks in their play. Basic safety is not negotiable, but testing the limits of their abilities is crucial for healthy development. I love to sing, know some simple sign language, have had CPR/first aid and life guard training at one point, and have a golden doodle. I would love to take the kids on field trips most days to parks, the zoo, the pool, the Center, hiakes, etc. I am open to a nanny-share.

We have known Martie for nine years and adore her! She has a passion for children and their development which is obvious when you meet her. She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend Martie if you are looking for someone to care for your kiddo!
