I'm honest, funny, and reliable. I like tutoring because opening up the world of literacy for students is very satisfying. Watching students who were intimidated by writing and reading transform to competency is rewarding. I'm looking for a job that is achievable and measurable. I started tutoring in college, helping students with their essays. After college, I've led countless writing workshops, classes, and events. I've also coached adults one on one with their writing. In my spare time, I like to take care of my goldfish, walk my dog Nino, paint, and listen to audiobooks. One thing you should know about me is that with kindness and humor, I hold my students to a high standard. My skills include editing, college level writing, personal essays, and basic literacy skills.
