About Martha

Hello born and raised in Queens, New York. Through family and close friends I've acquired hands on experience with children from the new born to early childhood stages. My greatest strength with child care is education. Here in New York, I was a tutor where I reviewed common core testing standards with students grades 3 -5. I also worked closely with students with learning disabilities while keeping other students engaged and on task. During my undergraduate years I worked as an education intern. There I had a class of 5-12 students where I delivered a culturally diverse curriculum that affirmed scholars with engaging literature and exposure to the broader community. I also kept the children engaged throughout the day with activities as well as field trips.
