About Marta

Marta has cared for my daughter for 3 years and also our 8 month old son for the past year. I cannot say enough about what Marta has meant to our family and how well she has cared for our children. Marta takes our daughter to many classes around town and swimming. She bathes her, gets her up in the morning, and spends countless hours playing with her one on one in our playroom or outdoors at the park when the weather is nice. She is never on the phone or texting, which I really appreciate. I also am always so pleased with how much time she spends outside. Her focus is consistently on our children and she works very hard to make sure they are always learning- alphabet, numbers, songs, and always having fun. She truly treats our kids like she would her own child. Marta is extremely helpful around the house. She cooks, does light cleaning, makes the beds, and does our laundry. Sometimes she has walked the dogs and grocery shopped for us- whatever we needed. I've never actually seen her sit still, she is always making herself busy with some odd job and I don't have to ask her ever, she just does it. She is very motivated and a very hard worker. She accomplishes things very quickly and is always on time to work and also for classes in my daughter's schedule. Marta is incredibly thoughtful and always brings our cards and gifts on important dates. She is patient and understanding when our daughter acts out and disciplines her as needed in the way we prefer. She is incredibly trustworthy and responsible and we would never hesitate to leave our daughter with her for an entire weekend when necessary. Marta is a lovely person and a fabulous caretaker. She has no trouble handling both are children at once or more on some occasions. I strongly recommend Marta for any childcare position. I am completely confident that you will not be disappointed. Any child would be extremely fortunate to have her in their lives.
