I have a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and minor in Sociology and over 10 years of childcare experience with all ages. I'm a licensed K-3 Primary School Educator, AMI Certified Montessori Assistant Teacher and have a wealth of experience working with children in various capacities and roles such as: homeroom teacher, ESL Teacher, camp counselor, and been a primary family nanny several times before. My interests include: world travel, art and dance and I pride myself on weaving these interests into interactive play-time with the children. I love taking kids outdoors and to museums, reading, painting you name it. It as rewarding for me as it is for them. Marta was amazing. She is high energy and was good with my daughters (4 and 8). She played games with them and constantly kept them busy. She even brought face paint and painted the girl's faces. It looked so perfect too; two little butterflies. Marta is not your "talk on the phone, plop the kids in front of the TV" sitter. She interacts with the girls and my girls love her. I highly recommend Marta!
