About Marlee

Hello my name is Marlee! I am new to Grand Rapids area been here a little over a year now. I am from California but I have truly enjoyed exploring what Michigan has to offer! I love working with children! I was a preschool teacher for over 10 years. Before that I would babysit and volunteer at my mom's elementary school. I do have experience in being a nanny as well. I truly believe each child is unique and special! I find it important to build a positive, strong and supportive relationship with the child/children and the family. It takes a village to raise a child and I want to be a positive role model in that. I love playing and interacting with them. I feel that is their way of learning and teaching them skills through those interactions. I am hard working, on time, open minded, respectful and know the importance of open communication to working with families. I love to learn still and find it important to show children that adults still learn!
