About Marla

I have many years of childcare experience, in addition to raising my children (29 and 32 years old). I was a Program Supervisor for a Christian Preschool Center for 4 years, and was able to teach in every age group. I was responsible for the curriculum for each age group. I spent 7 years as a para-educator for a public school district. This enabled me to provide one on one and group setting education, mostly focusing on reading and math, helping children who needed extra help in those areas. A nanny for 4 years and many babysitting jobs over the past 30 years. Along with my experience, I incorporate many different age appropriate activities into your child's day: music, arts and crafts, reading, science experiments, cooking, outdoor play activities, STEM activities, problem solving activities and much more! I provide a well-balanced experience for your child(ren). I am full of energy, a very positive person, a patient caregiver who loves children, helping them learn and grow!
